Matt Moran’s Iconic Sydney Restaurant Heads to Splendour
Get set for a next level festival dining experience! Splendour in the Grass has teamed up with celebrated Australian chef Matt Moran and his iconic Sydney restaurant Chiswick!
Festival Event Ticket holders will get to enjoy one of Sydney’s most stylish restaurants in an 80-seat pop up dining experience, positioned in a secret backstage location overlooking a lake.
But you’d better get in quick. With only six sittings across the weekend, tickets will sell out faster than you can say ‘Bon Appetit’.
Chiswick at Splendour in the Grass will feature long table seating and serve a special menu created by Chiswick Head Chef Tom Haynes. The menu - featuring spanner crab and avocado taco; Moran Family lamb shoulder, eggplant & red pepper chutney with flat bread; roasted beer can chicken, baby corn and pine nuts; Splendour-colada and more - will be seasonal, with locally sourced products and plates made to share.
Guests will be greeted with a “Kings Dead tonic”, a bespoke Chiswick at Splendour in the Grass creation with cucumber infused Smirnoff vodka, elderflower, grapefruit and basil oil.
To complement this special festival experience, Volkswagen will provide Chiswick at Splendour in the Grass ticket holders with the opportunity to be collected and driven to the show in style all weekend in either their new Polo Beats, which features a custom-designed and tuned sound system from Beats By Dr. Dre, or in one of the stunning Arteon luxury sedans.
